Small Ryokan KOMATSUYA is a pure Japanese style hotel, located in Iwamuro Onsen, at the foot of Mt. Yahiko in the Echigo Plain, Niigata, Japan.
The small inn has only seven guest rooms and one banquet room.
We limit the number of overnight guests to 2-3 groups per day so that you can feel the seasons through the plants in the garden, relax in the hot springs, and enjoy a quiet and luxurious time away from your daily routine.

History of KOMATSUYA
KOMATSUYA was founded around Iwamuro Onsen was found (late Edo). Although there was a temporary period of absence from work since the early Showa era, the inn has continued for decades two hundred. Some of our current buildings built over 200 years.
Please enjoy the garden surrounding the bulding, form of the seasonal; fresh tender green and plum blossoms of spring view, the bright green in summer, the beauty of autumn leaves, and the whiteness of the snow piles up in the winter.
